Moments with Magdalena
Magdalena Frackowiak rocking some rocks for Vogue Paris and Gucci for Vogue Spain.
A little roughed up like the morning after
Loving this dirty vibe. Angela Lindvall in US Marie Claire Feb.
Like a drop of blood in the snow
How visually striking. Wouldn’t we all want to cause some car accidents with this Chado Ralph Rucci coat.
Head over heels
I am the ruthless kind of a fashion lover – always and constantly on a search for more inspiration, new ideas and new obsessions. Therefore I simply squealed of joy when I discovered the net-a-porter.com weekly online magazines with the freshest scoop on what’s what and who’s who in fashion. They really do put an effort in this and the editorials are always so easy on the eyes. I’m absolutely adoring this black-white-red combo spread. Heaps of inspiration!!!
Hey Pig. Nothing’s turning out the way I planned.
An absolute kickass editorial featuring Jacquelyn Jablonski, lots of sheer maxis, long boots, Michael Kors and Ann Demeulemeester. Just as I like it.
One war Germany has won
To me, Vogue Germany is the indisputable winner in the battle of September covers. It has class and looks festive enough to mark the beginning of the new year in fashion. Can’t say I’m blown away but it is clearly the best of the bunch. Vogue UK? Don’t fancy what Freja is wearing and the coloring of the cover is way off. Vogue US? Ok, the McQueen dress is gorgeous and I like that it’s taken outside. But Kate Moss, again? Seriously? I’m way too tired of her. Vogue Paris? They could’ve done so much better than to put ONLY the face of a model having a “Gone with the Wind” moment on the cover. Vogue Spain? Not into the Dolce & Gabbana star-print thing. At all. And there’s something wrong with Helena’s face there. Vogue Nippon? Actually a pretty decent cover with Florence Welch.
The winner is also accompanied by a beautiful editorial featuring Iris Strubegger.
(The reason there’s no pictures of the other covers is that I refuse to put anything that’s not visually stimulating on my blog)
